Board of directors

  Salmaan Hasan BA MBA
Chief Executive (aged 47)

Joined Minerva in July 2005 from Deutsche Postbank AG where, as Head of Property Finance, he ran the unit for 11 years concluding over £5 billion of structured property loans in the UK and Europe. Prior to this he worked at Industrial Bank of Japan and Samuel Montagu in London. He is responsible, alongside the Board, in setting the strategy of the Group, day to day management and new business initiatives.
  Ivan Ezekiel BSc FCA ATII CF
Finance Director (aged 46)

Responsible for finance, accounting, tax and co-ordination of management and external reporting. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and worked for Capital and Regional Properties plc for three years as Group Financial Controller before joining Minerva plc in November 1997 as Chief Financial Officer. He was appointed to the Board in March 2005.
  Tim Garnham BSc
Group Development Director (aged 55)

Joined Minerva in January 1998 from the Trafalgar House Property Group where, as Deputy Managing Director, he was responsible for the UK development programme including a number of major London developments. He is responsible for the overall control of the Group’s development and leasing activities.
  Paul Goswell, MRICS
Non-Executive Director (aged 47)

Appointed to the Minerva Board in August 2011, Mr Goswell is Managing Director of Delancey (www.delancey.com). Mr Goswell has been involved with Delancey (and its predecessor business Freehold Portfolios Estates) with his partner Jamie Ritblat since July 1996. During that time the business has operated in a number of guises including a period as a listed company (1998 - 2001) where Mr Goswell sat on the main board as the Investment Director. Prior to Delancey, Mr Goswell spent ten years at Healey & Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield), one of the world's leading property consultancies where, as a partner, he ran the City of London investment department.
  Wilson Lamont
Non-Executive Director (aged 33)

Appointed to the Board in August 2011, Mr Lamont is a director of AREA Property Partners where he is responsible for the origination and structuring of UK real estate investments. Prior to joining AREA in 2003, Mr Lamont was a member of London & Regional, a pan-European investment and development company. Mr Lamont began his career at Morgan Stanley in London, where he was a member of the MSREF and the Real Estate Investment Banking teams.
  John Robertson, BSc MRICS
Non-executive Director (aged 60)

Appointed to the Minerva Board in August 2011, Mr Robertson is a Director of AREA Property Partners UK Limited.
  Colin Wagman, FCA
Non-Executive Director (aged 65)

Appointed to the Board in August 2011, Mr Wagman became Deputy Chairman and Finance Director of Delancey (www.delancey.com) in 1996, and was instrumental in structuring and implementing the strategy for the acquisition of Jamie Ritblat's Freehold Portfolios and the simultaneous placing involving George Soros. Mr Wagman practised as a specialist in business strategy and tax planning, and prior to Delancey was an advisor to The British Land Company Plc and other companies.
